Deliverables are confirmed in your proposal and depend on the agreed scope.
What we prepare
A provider-fit assessment, transaction-flow narrative and coordinated onboarding pack. The application distinguishes company funds from customer funds and describes the required exchange, payment, acquiring or infrastructure functionality.
What we need from you
Company and UBO documents, the business model, asset and currency requirements, transaction countries, expected volumes and ownership of funds. Include applicable registration evidence, compliance materials and any API or settlement requirements.
Who decides
Each exchange, payment or infrastructure provider decides eligibility, permitted use, pricing and available features. Meridian provides application support; accounts and any financial or crypto services are supplied by the relevant third-party provider.
Match the provider to the intended use
Meridian helps businesses prepare and coordinate applications for corporate exchange accounts, payment services and selected financial infrastructure. We begin with the functionality required and the activity behind it.
Buying digital assets with a company’s own funds, accepting customer payments and processing transfers for third parties describe different uses. The application needs to make those distinctions clear.
Typical requests
Corporate crypto exchange accounts
Payment institution and specialist provider onboarding
Merchant acquiring or payment-processing introductions
Corporate cards and selected payment infrastructure
Additional operational accounts for international businesses
Availability depends on the company’s profile and the provider’s current eligibility criteria. A requested feature should be confirmed for the proposed use case before relying on it.
Prepare the transaction story
Explain where funds originate, who owns them, how they are transferred or converted and who receives the final payment. Include the company’s role at each stage, expected volumes, currencies, assets and transaction countries.
For infrastructure requests, identify whether you need a web account, API access, recurring settlements or another specific capability. If funds belong to clients, disclose that at the beginning: a standard corporate account should not be assumed to permit third-party flows.
How Meridian supports the application
Review of the business profile and required functionality
Corporate, ownership and beneficial owner document review
Preparation of the transaction-flow narrative
Review of AML documentation readiness where relevant
Coordination of provider questions and follow-up requests
Before submission, we check for inconsistencies between the stated activity, website, corporate records and supporting materials. The provider may request further evidence or a discussion with the company’s representatives.
Our AML documentation support covers tailored first drafts where policies need preparation or updating. The corporate account document guide provides a starting point for assembling the underlying company and ownership information.
Onboarding questions
Does Meridian provide the account or hold funds?
No. Meridian provides consultancy and application coordination. Accounts, payment processing, exchange and custody services are supplied by the relevant third-party provider under its own terms and approvals.
Can a company apply before it starts trading?
Provider policies differ. Explain the planned activity, funding and expected transactions. We assess the preparation needed, but the provider determines whether it accepts the company and the evidence supplied.
Does onboarding confirm regulatory permission?
No. Provider approval and the company’s regulatory obligations are separate matters. The required permissions should be assessed for the actual activity and markets; no account approval or onboarding timeframe is guaranteed.
